ProAmpac Launches Curbside Recyclable Grease Resistant Paper-Based Multi-Wall Bag Platforms

CINCINNATI (April 6, 2023) – ProAmpac, a leader in flexible packaging and material science, announces the launch of its patent-pending PRO-EVO Recyclable platforms. The newest addition to the ProActive Recyclable® series of products, PRO-EVO Recyclable, is a multi-wall paper-based self-opening-sack (SOS) bag that is certified for curbside recycling and is ideally suited for dry pet food.

“Petfood brands want recyclable paper-based packaging solutions. The PRO-EVO Recyclable platform fulfills ProAmpac’s promise to deliver more recyclable packaging solutions without sacrificing end-use performance and filling line efficiency,” said Ben Davis, product manager for ProAmpac.

PRO-EVO Recyclable provides excellent grease and edge-wicking resistance without intentionally adding per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). PRO-EVO Recyclable is also available with high moisture barrier to maintain the freshness of pet foods.
