ProAmpac Prepares to DASL PACK EXPO Attendees

CINCINNATI (Oct. 21, 2022) – ProAmpac, a leader in flexible packaging and material science, will be dazzling attendees of PACK EXPO 2022 with two thought leadership sessions in addition to hosting trials of their virtual packaging prototyping software, MAKR, at booth S-3582. PACK EXPO is held October 23-26 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.

ProAmpac’s Thought Leadership
Sal Pellingra, vice president of global package design, applications and business development, will present Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 8:30 am as part of the 2022 Cold Pressure Council Annual Conference, in conjunction with PACK EXPO. The conference is located within McCormick place, room W-192B. Pellingra will capture the latest consumer behavior insights as the industry adjusts amid growing purchasing power and diverging food and beverage interests from Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z. In addition, Nathan Klettlinger will review the implications of existing fresh food to-go packaging in the market and discuss how flexible packaging and material changes can better support sustainability goals and the circular economy. This presentation, open to all Pack Expo attendees, is entitled Fresh Food To-Go and the Circular Economy and will be held Wednesday, October 26 at noon; Innovation Stage 1 (N4560).

MAKR by DASL
Available for demonstration at Pack Expo is MAKR by DASL; this tool allows users to choose almost any flexible packaging format ProAmpac produces. The user can custom design their package employing features such as package dimensions, closures, handles and even the shape of the pouch. Finally, users can add graphics and submit an order for their completed package design online.  ProAmpac’s DASL team will ensure all details are correct, finalize the order, and create and ship the custom prototype directly to the requester.
